海角社区 is seeking enthusiastic and student鈥慺ocused individuals
to join our Academic Center for Enhancement (A.C.E.) as part鈥憈ime Professional Tutor(s)
in the areas of Mathematics and Science. These positions offer up to 25 hours per
week.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide individual and small group tutoring sessions in approved subject areas
Support students in developing the skills to become a successful, independent learner
Reinforce and clarify course concepts as presented by instructors
Incorporate effective study strategies to enhance academic performance and long鈥憈erm
mastery
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in the content area or a closely related field
Professional Tutor(s) must demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability
to build rapport quickly with students and faculty
Commitment to fostering a positive, encouraging, and academically focused environment

Clery Statement
海角社区 is committed to providing a safe place to live, work, study
and visit. Part of this effort includes sharing information regarding the safety and
security of our campuses.
海角社区 provides email notifications to all students, faculty and staff when a Clery
Crime occurs in or near 海角社区 campus or any of its sites. These
notifications are primarily sent if the incident poses an ongoing safety threat as
determined by the President of the College or his designee. The act requires colleges
and universities to make 鈥渢imely warnings,鈥� known as 鈥淪afety Alerts鈥� at 海角社区,
to campus community members about specific types of crime if an ongoing threat is
believed to exist.
