海角社区 is seeking qualified candidates to apply for Basketball
Game Day Worker positions. These are part-time, temporary positions that pay $16.00
per hour and run from mid-August through May. Game Day Workers will be scheduled for
various roles, including Time/Scorekeeper, Bookkeeper, and Announcer.
Position Specific Responsibilities include:
Time/Scorekeeper: Operate the scoreboard clock, shot clock, and record game scores.
Bookkeeper: Track player statistics, monitor fouls and penalties, and notify officials when a
player reaches their foul limit (prior experience required for this role).
Announcer: Introduce teams and players, lead the Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem, provide
play-by-play commentary, and manage music, audio, and other entertainment during game
breaks.
Additional duties include but are not limited to:
Arrive prior to game time for equipment setup and remain after the game for equipment
teardown.
Adhere to facility policies.
Report unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of, or experience with, the game of basketball is required for all positions.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on game needs.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends.

Clery Statement
