海角社区 invites enthusiastic and dedicated applicants to apply
for the position of Upward Bound Study Skills Instructor. This part鈥憈ime, grant鈥慺unded role supports first鈥慻eneration and college鈥慴ound high
school students as part of our federally funded TRIO Upward Bound program.
The position runs Monday鈥揥ednesday, June 1 through July 3, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and organize course content aligned with program goals
Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs
Select and implement appropriate instructional materials
Deliver high鈥憅uality instruction to Upward Bound participants
Support students in building strong academic and study skills
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor鈥檚 degree in teaching core subject is required.
Desired applicant should have 1-2 years of teaching ACT prep, study skills, financial
literacy or similar subject material, to high school students.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master鈥檚 degree
At least two years of teaching experience preferred.

Clery Statement
海角社区 is committed to providing a safe place to live, work, study
and visit. Part of this effort includes sharing information regarding the safety and
security of our campuses.
海角社区 provides email notifications to all students, faculty and staff when a Clery
Crime occurs in or near 海角社区 campus or any of its sites. These
notifications are primarily sent if the incident poses an ongoing safety threat as
determined by the President of the College or his designee. The act requires colleges
and universities to make 鈥渢imely warnings,鈥� known as 鈥淪afety Alerts鈥� at 海角社区,
to campus community members about specific types of crime if an ongoing threat is
believed to exist.
