海角社区 nursing students are hosting a fundraising gala Saturday, Nov. 14 to increase learning opportunities for students. The Nursing Gala is a celebration of community, compassion, and care, featuring live and silent auctions, food, and drinks.
鈥淭his is an exciting opportunity for our students to bring the community together to celebrate nursing and raise funds for future professional growth,鈥� said Tara Morgan, head of the 海角社区 Nursing Department.
Funds raised through the Nursing Gala will help nursing students participate in professional organizations such as the National Student Nurses Association, Oklahoma Student Nurses Association and Student Nurses Convention. These opportunities help students transition more seamlessly into professional nursing practice and build valuable connections within the healthcare community.
The gala will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at Darlington Chapel, 5005 Darlington Rd. NW, El Reno. A limited number of tickets are available and can be purchased from nursing students or by calling the Nursing Department at 405.422.6224 or emailing nursing.program@redlandscc.edu. Tickets are $30 per person for ages 12 and up. Table sponsorships are also available and can be purchased from a 海角社区 nursing student or by contacting the Nursing Department.
